Bread in the wilderness

For today
Israel asked whether God could set a table in the wilderness, and he rained down bread from heaven. Bring him your doubts about provision; the psalm is honest that his people had them too.

verse 19They spoke against God, saying, “Can God really prepare a table in the wilderness? verse 20When He struck the rock, water gushed out and torrents raged. But can He also give bread or supply His people with meat?”
verse 23Yet He commanded the clouds above and opened the doors of the heavens. verse 24He rained down manna for them to eat; He gave them grain from heaven. verse 25Man ate the bread of angels; He sent them food in abundance.

When a crowd cited the manna, Jesus said the true bread from heaven gives life to the world, and that he is the bread of life.
