Wednesday · Psalm 41: Betrayed by a Close Friend
For today
The Church has long remembered this Wednesday as the day Judas agreed to hand Jesus over. If a friend has wounded you, this psalm lets you say so to God, and Jesus knew that wound too.

At the Last Supper Jesus quoted this verse about the one who shared his bread and would betray him, and he was troubled in spirit.
verse 10Then Judas Iscariot, one of the Twelve, went to the chief priests to betray Jesus to them. verse 11They were delighted to hear this, and they promised to give him money. So Judas began to look for an opportunity to betray Jesus.
