The longest psalm is a love song to God's word, and it ends with a surprising confession: I have wandered like a lost sheep. Let God's word light one step today, and let him come looking for you.

The psalm ends asking God to seek his servant. Jesus told of a shepherd who leaves the ninety-nine to find the one, and said he came looking for the lost, to save them.
verse 4“What man among you, if he has a hundred sheep and loses one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the pasture and go after the one that is lost, until he finds it? verse 5And when he finds it, he joyfully puts it on his shoulders, verse 6comes home, and calls together his friends and neighbors to tell them, ‘Rejoice with me, for I have found my lost sheep!’
For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.”
