verse 1O LORD, You have searched me and known me. verse 2You know when I sit and when I rise; You understand my thoughts from afar. verse 3You search out my path and my lying down; You are aware of all my ways.
verse 23Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my concerns. verse 24See if there is any offensive way in me; lead me in the way everlasting.

The God who knows us completely came close enough to share our weakness. Because Jesus was tempted in every way as we are, yet without sin, we can come near with confidence.
Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight; everything is uncovered and exposed before the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.
verse 15For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who was tempted in every way that we are, yet was without sin. verse 16Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.
